- I'm a third year medical student and currently I'm living in New York (HOME!!!. I'm studying for the dreaded USMLE Step 1 which I will take at the end of October. I'm what you call a geek. I love science fiction and fantasy stories, I have read the Star Wars novels (some not all) watch anime, read manga and have gone to two scifi cons!!! I've lived the previous 16 months in hell, i mean, Dominica which is an island in the middle of the Carribean Sea most of you have never heard of. The coolest fact about the place is that "Pirates of the Carribean 2 &3" were filmed there. Warning: do not go to this place unless you absolutely love nature!!! If you want the tourist experience...pick another island.
